The Organizational structure of RAE is the
following:

The Secretariat of RAE is organized in five (5)
operational departments:
- Monitoring of Markets and Competition Dept.
- Monitoring of prices and functioning
of the markets
- Collection and analysis of all relevant
data from all the energy market players
- Consumers' Protection and Environment Dept.
- Processing of all consumer requests/complaints
- Analysis of energy supply terms and conditions
and security of supply issues, specially regarding isolated areas and
the islands
- Assessment of environmental impacts from
energy activities
- Systems' Analysis Dept.
- Monitoring of all energy systems (electricity,
gas, oil, RES)
- Techno-economic analysis of the operational
and development aspects of the energy systems
- Techno-economic analysis of investment
plans and the supply conditions on non-interconnected islands
- Liaison with the industry and relevant
state authorities
- Energy Planning and International Affairs
Dept.
- Preparation of the Long Term Energy Planning
to be submitted to the Minister of Development
- Liaison with and participation to all
relevant international bodies (e.g. CEER, ERGEG)
- Decision Elaboration and Documentation
Dept.
- Legal processing regarding decisions,
opinions and proposals of RAE
- Legal support to all other operational
departments
- Keeps record of all RAE decisions and
minutes
and in three (3) support departments:
- RAE'Administrative Support,
- Secretariat of RAE's Chairman and Members
and
- Press and Public Relations
Currently the Secretariat of RAE consists of 38
experts (namely 13 engineers, 11 lawyers, 7 economists and 7 others) and 18 administrative
staff.
