Public consultation of RAE on the documents concerning the implementation of the Market Test for the project “Pipeline Nea Messimvria – Evzoni/ Gevgelija and Metering station” of DESFA.

With Decision 116/2021 (Gazette B’ 1392), RAE approved the National Natural Gas System Development Plan 2021-2030, which includes the project “Pipeline Nea Messimvria – Evzoni/ Gevgelija and Metering station”. The Decision states that “… The project will be implemented after the completion of the market test and the signing of a cooperation agreement with NER that will include the steps to be followed by both Parties for the implementation of the interconnection and will detail the responsibilities and liabilities of each Party…”

In this context, The Regulatory Authority for Energy sets under public consultation the proposal of DESFA on the necessary documents concerning the implementation of the Market Test, specifically:

1. Market Test Guidelines
2. Market Test Notice
3. Advance Reservation Capacity Agreement (ARCA)

The public consultation will last until Monday February 7th, 2022 (included). All interested parties are invited to submit their views to RAE via email at the address gasconsultation@rae.gr or in writing.

RAE will publish all contributions, unless the participant requests the non-publication of his identity and/or his views.
